StudyDrome Exam Manager exports reports individually, matching how each is used. Student results are available in three formats: a PDF, an Excel workbook, and a ZIP evidence bundle. OSCE and forensic reports are provided as PDFs and Excel files. The rest are read on-screen and via the API.

That last row is the psychometric and trend family. Those are the reports you interrogate: filter, re-read, cross-check against a previous cohort. So they live on screen, and your own systems reach them through the API. The analytics workspace covers what each one answers.

How does an Excel workbook arrive?

Every workbook arrives the same way—headers on. Columns auto-fitted. Panes frozen, so the header row stays put while you scroll. An autofilter already applied. Dates written as yyyy-MM-dd, so a spreadsheet sorts them correctly whatever locale it opens in.

Sheets are named for what they hold rather than numbered.

The pattern holds throughout: one sheet for the overview, then one sheet per thing somebody might need to look at on its own.

What scope does an export cover?

An exam can be published more than once. A correction, a resit, a second sitting for another cohort — each is its own publication, and each keeps the paper exactly as that group sat it.

Student-results exports follow the same shape. Ask for one publication, or for the exam across every publication it has had.

Both scopes produce the same three artifacts. Which one you want depends on the question. A board reviewing one sitting wants the first. A program review across a year wants the second.

Where do the figures come from?

Every export is generated from the published exam rather than from the draft it grew out of.

That matters most when time has passed. Publishing writes an immutable snapshot of the paper, and the statistics run on that snapshot. So an export produced during an appeal six months after the sitting carries the same figures as the one produced the week after it.

What freezes at publish covers the snapshot itself. For this page, the consequence is the useful part: a re-export is a reproduction, not a recalculation.

Notes for a reviewer

The questions a procurement review asks about reporting are rarely about the statistics. They are about what leaves the system, in what shape, and on whose instruction.

  • Exports are per report by design, so each one produces the artifact its readers actually use.

  • Every export is generated from the published exam, so a re-export months later reproduces the same figures.

  • A student-results bundle can be left with candidate names masked for moderation and for appeal panels.

  • Excel workbooks arrive with named sheets, headers, frozen panes, and an autofilter already applied.

  • An export is something a person asks for at the moment they ask for it.

  • The psychometric and trend reports are viewable on screen and accessible via the API, so your own systems can store them.

Are there data export formats?

Can exam results be exported from the system in bulk?

Yes. A student-results export covers one publication of an exam or the exam across every publication it has had, and the ZIP form carries a summary PDF and workbook, a PDF per candidate, a PDF per written answer, any files candidates uploaded, and a manifest so the archive stays readable years later.

Can an export be anonymized?

Yes, on the student-results bundle. Ask for masked names, and every candidate becomes a number instead. A moderation panel or a second marker can then read the scripts without knowing who wrote them, and the same bundle can be shared more widely than a named one could.

What does an appeal bundle contain?

The results export gives the scripts and the scores. The exam conduct report shows how each attempt ended, with a violation timeline for each candidate, as a PDF or Excel file. Item statistics and reliability quantify the decision at the pass mark. Each is exportable on its own, so you assemble the bundle the case needs.

How do you get the psychometric reports out?
